For Professionals
For Referring Professionals
ClearStep welcomes referrals from physicians, schools, therapists, and other professionals who care for children whose development, learning, or medical history raises questions that deserve a closer look.
Neurodevelopmental Follow-Up for Congenital Heart Disease
The American Heart Association scientific statement and the Cardiac Neurodevelopmental Outcome Collaborative recommend structured neurodevelopmental surveillance for children with congenital heart disease. ClearStep provides that evaluation in the west metro.
Dr. Wolfe is fellowship-trained in pediatric neuropsychology and conducts every evaluation personally. Reports are written to be usable by both the medical team and the school, with a school-facing summary mapped to Minnesota’s eligibility categories — Other Health Disabilities, Developmental Cognitive Disabilities, and others as applicable. Dr. Wolfe is available directly by phone if a school team has questions the report doesn’t answer.
